Kubernetes consulting and outsourcing for production infrastructure
From the honest build-or-skip decision through architecture, migration and day-two operation of the platform.
Kubernetes consulting and outsourcing for production infrastructure
Kubernetes creates value when service complexity or elastic demand justifies a platform. Our consultants test that case first. If managed services or VMs meet the requirement with less overhead, we recommend them.
If Kubernetes fits, we take responsibility from architecture through day-two operation.
Decide the architecture before creating a cluster
We assess workloads, team structure, availability, security constraints and cloud commitments. EKS, GKE, AKS and self-managed options are compared across responsibility, cost and fit. The design covers cluster boundaries, regions, node pools, networking, ingress, DNS, storage, identity and recovery.
The decision record explains why one or several clusters are needed, what remains outside Kubernetes and what your team, our engineers and the cloud provider each own.
Build a platform ready for production
Terraform provisions clusters and cloud dependencies. Helm or Kustomize standardises packaging; Argo CD provides GitOps delivery and drift visibility. Cilium, Calico or a cloud-native CNI is selected around networking needs.
Implementation includes workload identity, RBAC, network policies, secrets, ingress, certificates, autoscaling, disruption budgets and backups. Prometheus, Grafana and centralised logs cover cluster health and application SLOs. Every add-on has an owner and upgrade path.
Migrate without a big-bang cutover
Migration from VMs starts with dependencies and container readiness. We identify stateful services, local storage, scheduled jobs and assumptions hidden in scripts. Databases or queues remain outside when that is safer to operate.
Services move in waves. CI/CD builds immutable images; staging validates networking, scaling and recovery; production traffic shifts through canary or blue/green deployment. Exit criteria and rollback are agreed per workload.
Outsource Kubernetes operations after launch
Under an ongoing agreement, we own a defined scope: Kubernetes and add-on upgrades, node lifecycle, security patches, capacity, cost review, backup tests, alert tuning and incident support.
Coverage, response targets, escalation and change authority are documented. A compatibility matrix tracks Kubernetes, ingress, CNI, CSI and observability versions. Service reviews show reliability, waste, risks and upcoming work.
Give developers a safe path to production
Reusable templates and self-service workflows cover deployment, logs, rollouts and environments. Developers ship through Git without broad cluster access. Training and runbooks explain how to diagnose workloads and escalate platform issues.
Delivery includes architecture, Terraform, cluster configuration, Helm charts, Argo CD, security controls, dashboards, migration plan, upgrade policy, runbooks and a responsibility matrix.
Kubernetes consulting provides senior design and implementation expertise. Kubernetes outsourcing keeps the platform secure, current and operable after handover — with clear ownership and a cost proportionate to the product it supports.
What we use Kubernetes for
Long-lived services, elastic workloads, multi-tenant products and any workload that benefits from declarative deployment and autoscaling.
Typical implementation scenarios
- Migrating from VMs to Kubernetes
- Setting up production-grade managed clusters
- Multi-region and multi-cluster setups
- Progressive delivery with Argo CD
