1. Controller
V3 DevOps is the controller for personal data processed through this website. For any privacy matter, contact hello@v3devops.com. We respond to requests within 30 days.
2. What data we collect
- Contact data you submit in the lead form: name, email, company, message and the page the request came from.
- Business communication data: email correspondence, call notes and meeting arrangements.
- Engagement data: work-related contact details of client staff needed to deliver the service.
- Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, referring page and pages visited, collected in server and hosting logs.
3. Why we process it
- To answer your request and prepare a proposal — on the basis of steps taken at your request prior to a contract.
- To deliver and support agreed services — on the basis of contract performance.
- To keep our website secure, prevent abuse and improve content — on the basis of our legitimate interests.
- To meet accounting, tax and other legal duties — on the basis of legal obligation.
4. What we do not do
- We do not sell personal data.
- We do not sell advertising space and do not run advertising networks on this site — see our ads.txt.
- We do not use your production data for marketing, training models, or any purpose beyond the agreed engagement.
5. Cookies and analytics
The website works without marketing cookies. Strictly necessary cookies may be used for security, load balancing and language preference. If we later add analytics or marketing cookies, they will be loaded only after consent and listed here.
6. Client production data
During engagements we may gain access to systems that contain personal data belonging to your users. In that context you are the controller and we act as processor, strictly on your documented instructions, under the engagement agreement and — where required — a data processing agreement.
- Least-privilege access, revoked at the end of the engagement.
- No copying of production datasets to local machines unless explicitly agreed.
- Preference for anonymised or synthetic data in test and staging environments.
7. Sharing and subprocessors
We share data only with service providers necessary to run our business — hosting and infrastructure providers, email and communication tools, and accounting or legal advisers — each bound by confidentiality and data protection terms. A current list of subprocessors used in an engagement is available on request.
8. International transfers
We work with international clients, so data may be processed outside your country. Where data leaves the EEA, we rely on adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses together with appropriate technical measures such as encryption in transit and at rest.
9. Retention
- Lead form submissions and related correspondence: up to 24 months from the last contact, unless an engagement starts.
- Contract and billing records: for the period required by accounting and tax law.
- Server and security logs: short rolling retention, typically no more than 12 months.
10. Security
We apply the practices we implement for clients: encryption in transit, secrets kept in managed secret stores, multi-factor authentication, access reviews, audit logs and least-privilege permissions. No system is absolutely secure, but incidents affecting personal data are investigated and notified as required by law.
11. Your rights
You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Write to hello@v3devops.com. If you are in the EEA or UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
12. Children
Our services are business-to-business. The website is not intended for children and we do not knowingly collect their data.
13. Changes
We publish updates to this policy on this page with a new update date. Material changes affecting existing clients are communicated directly.
